On September 29, 2022, the National Inbound and Domestic Tourism Association of Moldova signed a MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT with the National Association of SPA and Medical Rehabilitation Centers from Lithuania on bilateral cooperation in the development and promotion of tourism in Moldova and Lithuania.
To contribute to each other’s the development and promotion of cross-border tourism products (Moldovan and Lithuanian); Collaboration and support in order to attract technical assistance, expertise, and donor projects in order to develop and promote tourism, covering the interests of both parties; Familiarization with Lithuanian and Moldovan tourism providers and with the responsible authorities regarding the regulation and promotion of tourism in both countries; To focus on B2B offerings and adapt to the motivation and preferences of both markets; To organize presentations about tourism products with tour operators, travel agencies, and media representatives from both markets; Organizing information tours for tourists and representatives of travel agencies as well as other actors in the industry, in order to be familiar with tourism products from Moldova and Lithuania.The Lithuanian Countryside Tourism Association and Association of Tourism Development in Moldova ADTM signed cooperation contract to seek identifying common solutions to the needs of rural tourism for a dynamic tourist market; · mutual support for the promotion of tourism in rural areas; · the development of initiatives and projects for the involvement of stakeholders in rural tourist destinations; · promoting modern concepts of rural tourism certification; · other joint initiatives to confirm the established Partnership.
The Lithuanian Tourism Association and National Association of Tourism Legal Agents of Moldova signed the cooperation to prepare information on current legal regulation policies of Lithuanian inbound and outbound tourism services; to introduce partners in Moldova, their assigned SMEs, BSOs to regulation policies of Lithuanian inbound and outbound tourism services; to consult partners in Moldova in further tourism regulation implementation initiatives.
Promotional contract has been signed between tourism venue searching portal Placer.lt and Moldovan SMEs: Chateau Vartely, rural tourism accommodation Valea Stancii and Winetours.md
Branding and marketing plans have been evolved for Chateau Vartely and Krikova wineries.
There have been 4 cooperation agreements on wine culture events signed between 2 SMEs in EaP country and 2 SMEs in EU country.
Milestii Mici Winery (Moldova) signed the cooperation agreement in planning, organizing and promoting their products and Moldovan wine culture in Lithuania, in hotels Esperanza Resort (Trakai) and Vila Komoda (Palanga), which is planned to be organised in September, 2023.
